I received the PC and initially everything looked normal, but soon the frames dropped steadily from 120-160 to 80-100 FPS. The CPU usage stayed around 20% and GPU around 10-40%. The components are top-notch, so I’m puzzled about the low FPS. It affects other games too, and all sites claim you should easily hit 160 FPS on Rust. Specs: i7-8700K, RTX 3060 Ti, 16GB DDR4, 3000MHz, GPU performance between 3000 and 4000.
What kind of drive setup do you have? It’s mostly just a quick verification—your monitor is connected to the graphics card’s output. I’d install a tool like HWinfo and run it in the background; it would gather a lot of information during a short gaming session.
I've noticed a problem where a secondary HDD triggers many CPU interrupts, nearly locking the processor. It's good to try removing any connected secondary HDDs during such incidents.
You have an extra hard drive, but most of your games are stored there. To disconnect it, you'll need to remove the secondary HDD from your system.
I managed to complete it successfully. The server was running on DESKTOP-NMNJGTB and the log file was available.
