Hi, I see the issue. Your Fortnite performance is dropping at low settings and you're experiencing audio glitches. Your specs are listed, but you might want to check your GPU load, update drivers, and ensure your display settings match your hardware. Let me know if you need help with anything else!

It's a recognized problem with AMD GPUs. Once the CPU becomes the limiting factor, frame rates drop significantly. With models like 5600X and 6700 XT in Fortnite—easy to handle—that’s likely to happen. This issue also affects some other DX11 titles, but Fortnite is particularly problematic. The AMD support page mentions recent driver updates, though this has been ongoing for years. Known performance drops can occur when using Multithreaded Rendering and DirectX 11 on certain AMD graphics cards like the Radeon RX 6900 XT. You might want to try DX12 (not performance mode) if you haven’t already. This really helped me.

You're asking about GPU drivers versus the motherboard. You mentioned not updating the BIOS and reinstalled AMD GPU drivers via their auto-detect feature.

Determining whether it's a fresh installation or a previous successful version requires checking logs, user feedback, or system behavior before and after the change.

I launched the game again and it’s now running at 60fps with small fluctuations. However, using the medium setting makes the performance issues more noticeable.

It's your first gaming PC setup. I ran Heaven Benchmark and achieved over 160 frames per second at 1080p resolution using medium texture filtering and 4x anti-aliasing.

I attempted the direct x12 and everything appears stable as long as resources are sufficient. Your comment about an optimization issue from AMD or Epic seems unrelated to my current situation.

I believe the problem lies with AMD. It’s occurring in several other DX11 titles running on AMD hardware, and AMD is often criticized for poor driver support.
