Hey, a few months back I swapped out my hard drive and after that game it would suddenly drop from 300 fps to just 30-40 fps for about ten seconds. I figured the problem was my CPU usage spiking in Task Manager whenever the lag happened. It wasn’t a temperature issue and didn’t relate to the hard drive. I turned off Cool n Quiet and set the BIOS to C6 Core State, which really helped. But the lag still lingered. Please help!

CPU: FX 8350 | GPU: AMD RX 470 | HDD: SEAGATE BARRACUDA 1TB

I don't play games, but I can help you find ones to play! What kind of games are you interested in?

Primarily CSGO and Black Ops 3 titles that previously didn’t face issues, particularly CSGO
