I'm struggling to understand why my Cinebench score with the 8700K remains low, even though others around me consistently reach about 1600. Despite using a 5GHz OC, 1.3V settings, Maxmimus X Hero WiFi AC Mobo, water cooling via Corsair H110i, and 32GB of 3200 DDR4 RAM, my GPU runs MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X SLI on Windows 10 with two monitors at 1440p. CPU idle temps are around 33°C and load temps near 73°C. I've checked all CPU and power BIOS settings, as well as Windows power options, but nothing seems to bring me close to the expected performance.

Have you attempted to use cinnebench with live time configurations in the task manager? You may be having another process running in the background.

Does the voltage fluctuate during benchmarking? If so, you might try switching the LLC to Turbo or Extreme. I’m experiencing problems with the latest BIOS update for the Aorus Z370 Gaming 5 motherboard (F7). The voltage keeps dropping and performance drops, but with the BIOS (F4) it works smoothly, achieving 5.0GHz and stable scores above 1650 at around 1.315V. A small optimization guide would be helpful.
