Reduce steam load lag by adjusting system settings or monitoring flow dynamics.
I possess two PCs, labeled PC-A and PC-B. PC-A is just a year old, whereas PC-B is several years older. My issue is limited to PC-A. The situation doesn’t occur on PC-B. The issue involves Steam launching during startup on both machines, as expected, but it runs smoothly in the background on PC-B. When I click the Steam logo in pic #2 on either PC, it loads instantly. However, clicking Steam shortcuts or the .exe file on PC-B causes instant loading, whereas it takes around 20 seconds on PC-A. This problem began on PC-A about a week ago. Around that time, I also noticed the system would lag for about half a second when I opened Task Manager and selected "Performance," a problem that previously didn’t happen. Even after reinstalling Windows 10, neither issue was resolved. PC-B, being older, seems unaffected. Could anyone explain why this might be happening? Thank you!
