Hello, I'm running an i5 9600kf processor. It throttles during Genshin Impact even though it worked fine a week ago. The CPU reaches 100% while the GPU stays under 50% usage. My system has 16GB RAM in two 8GB modules, a 550W PSU, a Prime H310M-R 2.0 motherboard, and the GPU is GTX 1660 Super with random memory.

Have you looked into the task manager or resource monitor when performance hits its maximum to identify CPU bottlenecks?

Most games functioned well once but have stopped working now.

Checking your processor temperature, is it running cooler? Overheating might cause throttling, often due to thermal issues or insufficient cooling from the case.

my temperatures are running low, almost at standby, and my cooler is set to deep cooling with a big heatsink and plenty of airflow

Are there any other games experiencing problems? Genshin might need an update that affected its performance.

Isn't that the response you were looking for? The issue seems to lie with Genshin... If only Genshin performs poorly, then the problem is Genshin.
