Reduce data intake rate and improve response time settings
I've just assembled my gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 9600X and a 2x16GB 6400MHz CL32 RAM kit. My read speeds were about 58k with 80ns latency using the Expo1 UCLK/MCLK 1:2 configuration. After adjusting settings, I reached 63k reads and 68ns latency at 1:2. I experimented with 6200MHz 1:1 and 6400MHz 1:2 speeds, getting around 6200MHz and 6700MHz respectively with 69k reads and 67ns latency. My main concerns are whether the voltages shown in the photo affect any components over time—short or long term—and if the differences between those speeds are noticeable.
All timings in whole units were adjusted after modifying the FCLK.
The value 6400 is often cited as the optimal setting for Ryzen 9000 because many of these chips support it in single-threaded performance. However, not all units achieve this, which explains why your system isn’t at full potential. Running at 6000 CL30 is a common recommendation since it provides solid results across all CPUs without requiring complex configurations. DDR5 performance may vary more noticeably depending on the specific configuration. Aida64 isn’t very reliable for memory testing and might not accurately reflect real-world speeds, especially in other workloads where it could behave differently than claimed.
