I recently assembled a Ryzen setup for a friend, using a B450 motherboard and placing the Ryzen 3400G on it. Despite this, we're still using an older 8 GB DDR4-2133 CAS memory in a single channel. My priority is improving the weakest component, which is the integrated graphics unit. I'm considering two options for memory upgrades: a more expensive module that offers higher speeds, and a cheaper alternative from Newegg. The more expensive one is priced around 130 dollars, while the budget choice is listed at 85 dollars. I'm curious about how these differences might affect performance in games, especially since GPUs often benefit from higher clock speeds.
