I understand there are many issues with this type of question, but I’m still struggling to find a solution or confirmation. My system runs at 5600x with 4.3 GHz during idle, showing temps between 45-55 and occasional spikes lasting about a second. I tried the Balanced plan and switched to Power saver, which lowered the CPU clock from around 1 GHz to 39-40 GHz during idle. Thanks in advance for your help.

On my R7 2700 I had to turn on AMD cool n quiet in BIOS, because without it it wouldn't ever lower the clock speed, even when using power saver mode.
