Redragon K630 RGB Software caused my keyboard to malfunction.
I recently purchased a Redragon K630 RGB with red switches and functioned normally until I attempted to download the RGB software from the official Redragon website. After unzipping the folder and running the .exe file, an error message appeared and the keyboard stopped responding. Restarting the PC or unplugging the keyboard didn’t resolve the issue, but when I accessed device settings, the keyboard was listed. If there’s a solution, please let me know.
remove all associated programs and device drivers.
reboot the computer.
if the keyboard remains unresponsive;
reach out to the seller bought from and
submit the product for a refund.
then locate a more reliable brand for your upcoming keyboard.
Secondly
@JohnBonhamsGhost mentioned another possibility: test the keyboard on a different PC or laptop. If it fails there, it might indicate a faulty firmware update, as the keyboard could crash when running the .exe file. You can check if Redragon offers a method to re-flash the firmware or simply return it, stating it doesn't function properly.
