Here’s a rewritten version of the text, focusing on clarity and key information:

This document outlines a desire to optimize a gaming PC build for cost-effectiveness. The current configuration includes several components that could be replaced to achieve a target budget of around $1,000 while maintaining a stable 2K 144Hz display.

Here’s a rewritten version of the text, aiming for clarity and flow:

“When building a PC, several components contribute to its overall performance and cost. Let’s look at some key choices.

Firstly, consider CPU coolers. Air coolers are significantly more affordable than liquid cooling solutions. However, your current case limits your air cooler options – you might want to explore options like the be quiet! Dark Rock TF. With a different case offering better CPU cooler clearance, your selection of air coolers would expand considerably.

Secondly, the motherboard is a crucial investment. Popular choices include the MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX, ASUS Prime X570-P, and ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (with or without WiFi).

Thirdly, storage – an SSD like the Samsung MX500 or P2, or perhaps an Intel 665P/660P, is essential.

Finally, the graphics card (GPU) – RTX 2080s are no longer produced and their prices have increased due to limited supply. “

1) Processor cooler: Air coolers are undoubtedly more affordable. Unfortunately, your current choice for the chassis limits your air cooler options—but there is still the be quiet! Dark Rock TF.
With a different case offering greater CPU cooler clearance, your air cooler options will expand.
2) Motherboard: The selected board is expensive, without a doubt.
-MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
-Asus Prime X570-P
-Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus, with or without WiFi
3) Solid State Drive: Samsung and their price premiums… someone’s being bent over, and it’s not them…
-Crucial MX500 or P2
-Intel 665P or 660P
4) Graphics Card: The RTX 2080 is no longer in production. Its prices are inflated as a result. It was superseded by the RTX 2070 Super.
The AMD alternative is the RX 5700XT. The potential for driver-related headaches make them a tough sell though.
5) Case: That case doesn’t come supplied with ANY fans. NONE AT ALL. That’s even more out of your pocket.

Thank you for the advice, I will absolutely look into changing a few things. I think I had been warned about the Lian-Li not coming w/ any fans, but I must have forgotten. Much appreciated.
