Red light on motherboard, need help with DRAM issue.
I purchased this unit around two years ago. After installing a new air cooler, it started up properly the first time. Later, when trying to boot it again, the red light came on. Could you assist me?
I understand. Shift the RAM back into the other two slots—second and fourth from the CPU. After that, erase the CMOS. You'll need to turn on XMP in the BIOS settings, though this is just a simple troubleshooting measure. Certain motherboards include a jumper to enable it. Do you recognize your motherboard? I see it's an Asus Pro line, but I’m having trouble identifying the exact model. If you’re unsure about the model, knowing the CPU can help narrow down the possibilities.
You're struggling to locate the specific motherboard model. Checking for a watch battery on the board can help, and resetting the CMOS without using jumpers is a good approach. The component you described resembles the one shown in your reference.

See the battery info – it includes a jumper for CMOS reset. Keep the GPU on.
Note: It’s still a bit different from yours, but it marks the battery position.
