SPECS: CPU= intel core i3-1200f Motherboard= msi pro h610m-b ddr4 Ram= 2x8 Gskill ddr4 aegis 3200mhz Gpu= zotac gtx 1060 3gb oc Ssd/hdd= 1 samsung evo ssd, 2 hdd.(only the samsung evo, my boot drive is plugged in) Hey guys, i built a pc 2 months ago, and when i first built it, it worked perfectly fine. After a week or so, my pc didnt boot up anymore and kept restarting itself. I returned my motherboard and cpu to the website i bought as RMA for the first time. They said my motherboard was broken and replaced it. I was happy until i rebooted my pc... my motherbkard didnt restart itself, but i still had the red cpu EzDebug light on my motherboard. I went to a comouter store, and the worker told me the problem is either my cpu or motherboard. He said he didnt know the exact problem, because my cpu and motherboard are really new. I decided to send my motherboard and cpu back AGAIN. You guessed it, it still didnt solve my problem. By the way, i have tried my brothets psu and ram, so i know these are fine. My motherboard has a red cpu light and i have absolutely no display. Im sitting here frustrated waiting for help.

I'm not sure about sending it, since getting it back broken makes it hard to figure out. It might mean a CPU problem or a motherboard issue.

Various debug indicators cover distinct sections of the device. The motherboard guide explains which one handles each function. You might see them labeled with different colors next to the corresponding light. There are three lights in total, possibly displaying different hues. POST stands for Power On Self Test, where the machine evaluates individual hardware parts before moving to the setup or booting process. These indicators reflect the timing of issues rather than pinpointing their exact location. Sometimes a CPU light might not correspond to the CPU itself but could indicate another problem like memory overload. Updated November 11, 2022 by Bombastinator
