Hello there! This is my very first attempt at building something. I’m completely new to this space! Here’s what I have so far:

System details: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Kingston FURY Beast DDR5-6000 C36 WD Black SN850X SSD - 1TB WD Black SN850X SSD - 2TB Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE Corsair RM850x SHIFT Corsair iCUE 4000D Asus Strix 1080 TI. I had hoped the 4080 Super would work better, but I haven’t decided what to replace it with yet.

I managed to assemble the computer. Then I ran into an issue: the CPU light turned red and the DRAM light came on yellow. After turning it off and back on, I got into the boot menu. Everything seemed installed—OS, drivers, games, and stuff. I thought everything was fine.

But when I power off and then turn it back on, something changed. The DRAM light stayed yellow. Then I turned off the PC and powered it down completely, waited 15 minutes, removed all cables, and it started again. That’s strange.

I’m looking for a solution. Ideally, I’d like a machine that powers on automatically every time. Any tips or ideas would be super helpful!

And by the way, I missed that I'm running the latest BIOS update for MSI 7D75v1E5.

Has this ever happened before? It's likely your PC is going through memory training. Try to pause it for 5 minutes. Once the process finishes, it should start up normally again. I previously used Kingston RAM DDR5, and it performed memory training occasionally. If after 5 minutes the screen still displays a blank page, reset the CMOS by removing and reinserting the battery (similar to what you do with a watch battery) and then reattach the RAM.
