I have just received a new Dell Inspiron 24 All-In-One 5420 with Windows 11 Home installed. I need to create a System recovery USB for reinstalling Windows. What size USB should I use? Additionally, the system runs on a 256GB SSD and has a 1TB HDD for data storage. How can I configure Windows to use the 1TB drive for all data while keeping the 256GB SSD reserved for Windows? Also, should I install applications on the 256GB SATA drive for better performance or leave it empty? Please advise. Thank you!

Applications need to be set up on the SSD. You shouldn't restrict them to "windows only" or vice versa.
Your data? Create a few folders on the HDD.
When using your applications and saving files, specify the destination. The next time the app needs to save, it will likely go there.
In your browser, you can set a default folder for saving.

Approximately 16gb of storage is needed. To reinstall Windows 11, create a fresh installer - https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11
