Recently I received a warning about someone trying to access my Google Account from another device. For security, I logged out of all my devices—big mistake.
When setting up my email, I mistakenly used the same email as my recovery account. Even though I had enabled 2FA and changed my phone number, I didn’t update that information in my Google Account. That was another error.
I attempted account recovery, but it’s leading me through a confusing process. When I try to log in, it sends a verification code. I ask for an alternative method, and it gives the same message repeatedly. There are no questions to answer anywhere.
Could there be any way to recover this account? I haven’t found any discussions with this exact issue, so I’m stuck on troubleshooting steps.
