It will search the hard drive for deleted files like photos, audio, video, or everything. Finding pictures is ideal. If not, perform a Deep Scan, which may take a long time. Once scanning finishes, previews of recovered photos appear. Choose the ones you want and save them to another hard drive or USB stick. I emphasize the capitalized part—don’t overwrite files by saving again on the original drive. You can always restore them later.
