Back log delayed my arrival at the Crysis Warhead party, but I really enjoy the game. Visually it looks amazing and switching between abilities feels enjoyable. As someone who isn’t a skilled gamer, I doubt I’d have had much fun in multiplayer, but for those with good skills, these Crysis titles seem to have been popular. Do you think that’s true? Anyone still playing multiplayer with mods or similar options?

I don't believe multiplayer was ever that widely embraced. You could still run a multiplayer experience in Crysis 1, though it would need some modifications. I'm aware EA discontinued the multiplayer servers for all Crysis titles except possibly a few... likely due to timing. Honestly, I didn't really connect with Crysis overall. They're visually appealing games, sure, but that's about it. The only title that genuinely caught my interest was Crysis 3, although I haven't played it past the pre-release beta, which turned out to be quite enjoyable. As for the earlier games, they were just average shooters at best. The suit design with cloaking was intriguing, but the rest felt uninspired, even during the alien appearances. Still, don't let me ruin your day—thanks for enjoying it!

Crysis focused on single-player gameplay. Warhead was the last solid title created by Crytek before they shifted to maximum console support and acquired Tyrannosaurus rekt.
