Hello everyone, in the latest Overwatch client you can save your replays and export them as an MP4 file. I've heard that saving to a SSD isn't ideal, but is that also an issue with an NVMe SSD? Could there be a way to record those files elsewhere within the game? Thanks!

Checked Overwatch settings and ensured it’s closed. Accessed the Settings_v0.ini file in Documents\Overwatch\Settings. Navigated to the [MovieExport.1] section. Inserted a line for VideoPath with a placeholder path, such as C:\Users\yourusername\Desktop. Saved the changes and closed the file.

It's not necessarily a bad idea to record on an SSD, especially if it's limited in size and you're mindful of space. Many discussions about older SSD technology suggest concerns that aren't fully applicable today.
