I purchased a new gaming laptop to play Warzone with my girlfriend, who started on PS4. Previously, the laptop would fail to recognize my graphics card, but everything worked smoothly over the past couple of days. It ran at 120 fps even with high settings, which should be manageable for my machine. Today I launched the game and got only 30 fps—no clear reason yet. Performance is decent overall, internet connection is solid, and updates look current. I suspect it’s not a configuration issue since it worked before. I’m worried about this expensive purchase and hope someone can assist me so I can enjoy my birthday gift without stressing over a faulty device. Please let me know if you need more details.
I'm really puzzled about this situation... I restarted the game to verify V-Sync and confirmed the issue was resolved. I left it running while preparing dinner, then reopened it and it's now at 120fps! After spending over an hour testing different settings, it consistently stayed around 30fps. It seems there might be something wrong with my laptop. I thought adjusting the game settings could help, but they mostly maxed out without fixing it. Now that everything is stable again, I'm planning to keep this issue in mind and check back later to see if it recurs. Thanks for your support so far!
