Your mainboard lacks a VRM temperature sensor and isn't displaying it in any monitoring tools. You have a Commander Pro available. You can use one of the included temperature sensors to check the VRM temperature. Place it near the VRM for the most accurate reading. If that's not possible, consider using a separate VRM thermometer for better precision. Thanks for your question!

To assist you better, it would help to know the specific motherboard model you're referring to. I’m not certain about the VRM sensor, but your description mentions several unnamed temperature sensors—could you clarify which one you mean?

I haven't worked with that product before. I stopped using it after the mishap with my previous device.

The programs you used were likely HWInfo64 and possibly others depending on your setup. HWInfo64 is known to show VRM temperatures and has been effective on your PC and gaming laptop. For the 2-in-1 you use at school, it also worked well, so try HWInfo64 there too.

The manual doesn't list a connector for the thermal sensor cable. You might use an infrared thermometer instead. Alternatively, you can input any temperature data from hwinfo and label it as 'vrm temp' even if it doesn't match the expected format.

In hwinfo64 "system" could refer to VRM temperature unless it's marked as VRMos or similar (typically Asus uses this label). The PCH represents the motherboard chipset, replacing the older North and South bridges by managing both functions in one chip instead of using separate chips. Some boards lack a dedicated VRM temperature sensor, which is common for budget and mid-range models.

The components that come with the Corsair Commander Pro include the temperature sensors, not the mainboard itself.

Which detectors are involved? Isn't this merely a color management unit?
