I understand AMD suggests using water cooling with the 5800/5900/5950X processors. But I’m skeptical about water cooling since leaks are likely, and my case is already packed with fans—no room for a radiator. I intend to purchase a 5900X once it’s back in stock and try to push it to 5 GHz if possible. My motherboard is an AS Rock Phantom Gaming 4 X570 ATX board. What air cooler would suit this setup? I’d prefer something straightforward to install, as I’ve mostly used the original coolers before. I’m also considering Be Quiet! Dark Rock 4, but it might be too much since its power rating is around 220W and the 5900X can draw up to 142 million watts.

If you're looking for something compact, the noctua nh u14s might be a good choice because it offers impressive cooling performance. However, if you need to handle temperatures above 5.3 ghz or want your CPU to run very cool, a dark rock 4 is the top recommendation I know of. You could also consider tech cooling with a dark rock 4, but that would require custom wiring and extra power costs.

And if you're considering a mix of air and water cooling, perhaps a water-cooling loop using a non-conductive fluid like mineral oil could work, though leaks would still pose risks and not guarantee component safety.
