My daughter's birthday is coming up in just under two weeks, and she wants a gaming laptop. I'm trying to stay within a budget of around $750, but $500 would be much better. Do you have any suggestions on what she could get her? She mostly plays Roblox and Fortnite, and she's turning 13. I live in Virginia Beach, VA, so places like Microcenter aren't really available. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just spotted the sticky note with the requested details. Refer to my responses below for the highlights in red.
1. Your budget falls between $500 and $750, with the lower end preferred.
2. The notebook size you’re thinking of is around 15 inches.
3. You’re aiming for a screen resolution suitable for casual low-level gaming.
4. You’re looking for a basic laptop, not a heavy one—weight matters less since it’ll mostly stay on a desk.
5. You need about 2 hours of battery life, but you’ll be plugged in most of the time.
6. If you want to play games, consider Roblox and Fortnite with medium settings.
7. Other uses include web browsing and simple Office work.
8. You require around 499GB of storage space.
9. If you pick specific sites, share their links—Amazon, Newegg, BestBuy are fine.
10. You plan to keep the laptop for approximately 4 years.
11. Optical drive preference: none needed.
12. Preferred brands are reputable ones; avoid Macs.
13. You’re from the USA.
14. Any extra details? She’s looking for something "aesthetic," which is her favorite word.
