Hi! I'm just starting out with PC building and recently completed my first project last month. You can check it out here: (https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/7B9rPs). I mostly used parts for the build, including a used water cooling solution. It usually keeps temperatures stable, but the fans are quite loud, and I’m curious about how long the previous owner had it.

I’m wondering if I should consider a new AIO or just swap out the fans. I want something that offers a lot of overclocking potential while also being quiet. Airflow is important too—my case is a mini ITX Fractal Design Core 500. I don’t have a tight budget, but ideally I wouldn’t exceed $100-110 for a new cooler if needed. Thanks for any advice!

the noise, if it originates from the fans, then swap them out; but if the sound comes from the pump, you'll need to modify it to eliminate the disturbance.

Does the CPU cooler have a connection to the CPU fan port on the motherboard? If not, verify the connection; otherwise, the cooler might run at maximum speed continuously.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the delayed response, but I ended up getting another water cooler. I now have a Corsair H75 and switched my case to a Thermaltake Core V1. The fans are completely silent. (I also have an affordable Arctic F8 fan at the back). After tweaking some BIOS and Qfan Control settings from ASUS, the fans only come to attention when I'm gaming. I still need to purchase another 80mm fan, but my temperatures are now manageable—usually staying between 30 and 40 degrees, rarely exceeding 70. Thanks for your help!

everything was the issue and altering it resolved the problem?
if all things in life were so simple!
