Hi everyone, I'm searching for a laptop under $1000. It's mainly for playing Apex Legends on an external monitor at 1080p with a 144Hz refresh rate. I've selected several models, mostly with i7-13620H processors (HP has 8845HS), RTX 40 series graphics, 1TB storage, and 16GB RAM. Apart from these details, I'm focusing on performance, quiet operation, cooling efficiency, and build quality. Battery life, screen clarity, speakers, and camera are not priorities for me.

Models considered: Acer Nitro V 15.6", HP Victus 15 (RTX 4060), ASUS TUF F15 (RTX 4070), MSI Katana 15 (RTX 4060).

What do you think? Any advice or information would be really helpful. Thanks!

why you'd need a laptop connected to an external monitor if you plan to keep it on the desk, and whether a cheaper desktop could serve the same purpose. but this offer is a great deal if you're determined. it's also one of the best specs I've seen in sales so far.
