I acknowledge it's enjoyable, but it doesn't replace actual training.
I previously used a wheel set and experimented with it for a while before obtaining a license. I advise against using it for learning how to drive. Real driving demands many responsibilities and habits that aren't always beneficial. Small routines developed in games can become problematic when applied to actual driving without awareness. These habits might not be noticed, leading to poor reactions at critical moments—like the wrong move, at the wrong place, or at the wrong time.
Disclaimer: I’m not a driving instructor. What seems acceptable includes recognizing controls and indicators, getting comfortable with the shifter and wheel rotation. This largely depends on your specific Logitech model. Another key point is helping her develop muscle memory for the pedals. Practicing these in a game would be more effective than just memorizing before getting behind the wheel. It’s crucial she understands pedal positions and how to adjust under pressure. Even without stress about driving, everyday pressures can affect safety while operating a vehicle. Great effort in considering her safety! Real-world training is where she should eventually gain experience. I began in an empty parking lot first, then moved to small streets and roads. Unfortunately, property owners have increasingly restricted this activity over time. Now, even in large empty lots after hours, they often stop it due to liability concerns or security risks.
