Recently constructed PC sometimes behaving oddly within web browsers.
So far I assembled this machine two weeks back and everything has worked well except for a small but bothersome issue. Occasionally the web browser (Chrome xd) freezes at random, though it appears to continue processing tasks. For instance, when I open a browser and type in a search, I might not see any input, then click it thinking I missed, but the cursor doesn't appear. After a brief pause it unfreezes and displays what I wrote. The same pattern occurs while scrolling on certain sites—starting to move the mouse feels natural, but nothing happens. I verify my tabs are active, yet they don’t function. When I drag the cursor across the window it reshapes like a brush, then after a second or two it returns to normal. This also happens with Discord, likely because it runs as a browser app, though it doesn’t resolve quickly enough. Switching tabs seems to help a bit, but it still ends abruptly. It’s frustrating since the events happen so fast I can’t capture a screenshot or record the issue properly. Perhaps the problem only appears when another program is running? (Maybe something like Medal.tv triggers it?) While it isn’t a major concern yet, it’s starting to irritate me... Any advice would be appreciated. Details about my setup: Windows 11 Pro 24H2 x64 (activation via pirated install), system age 2 weeks, CPU Ryzen 9 7900X3D, Zotac 4070 Super Twin Edge OC, Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX power supply, Corsair RM850x (2021). It’s a desktop setup.)
