Recent upgrade has caused performance problems.
I recently installed a new GTX 1060 graphics card alongside my i5-4460 processor and H81M-E33 motherboard. While everything is compatible and functional to some degree, I’m experiencing significantly poor gaming performance compared to benchmark results for similar configurations. I'm only achieving 30-40 frames per second on the lowest settings, despite others with identical hardware attaining 50-60 fps on high settings. I’ve reinstalled all recent NVIDIA drivers without improvement. During gameplay, my CPU consistently maxes out at 100%, while my graphics card utilization remains around 40-60%. This leads me to believe the CPU is bottlenecking the system; however, numerous online benchmarks using the same PC demonstrate substantially higher performance – approximately three times greater. I need assistance!
It’s possible a program is simulating the processor or that there’s malicious software involved. Investigate this possibility. However, that wasn’t the case – I routinely maintain my task manager on a secondary display to monitor resource consumption, and it consistently reveals that the game I'm playing is responsible for utilizing 85-90% of the CPU.
Explore TryUserbench. Execute the assessment and reveal the results. Perhaps we can deduce the situation, given that the elements are examined individually, as I believe.
