Hey! To check your current BIOS version, you can definitely use CPU-Z. It lists the BIOS you're running along with other system details.

Check the available bios in the settings. Likely by pressing the delete key during startup.

Review the CPU compatibility list and then match it with your BIOS version. A BIOS upgrade might not be required and isn't always advised.

Reviewed the list and confirmed compatibility with 3600x. Also noted 3200g and 3600x require the same BIOS—matches what I have on my board. Thanks a lot!

According to CPU-Z, my most recent BIOS was installed on July 11, 2019. The MSI website mentions a new release on August 14, 2019, suggesting the system should still function. It seems updating the BIOS isn't necessary unless you notice issues. Avoid unnecessary expenses.
