I removed the questions I wasn’t sure about. I feel I have a solid grasp of non-technical topics, but there are some gaps that might be basic for someone new. Thanks for letting me edit out the answered ones to keep the post clean. For the mic mute needed for Steam voice chat, I didn’t find a clear option to turn it on or off. Muting the mic seemed the simplest solution, especially since my previous mic had a good silent switch. It didn’t work well though—it was unreliable and stopped working.
