Bios can handle formatting, but you might need to adjust settings if you're on a desktop. If not, check the options in your app or settings.

I’m uncertain about locating the drive in the BIOS, as it seems to be the sole one available. The interface hasn’t changed recently, and nothing has been modified. It previously contained two partitions—one unallocated for installation and another six GB folder for the installer.

How many hard drives do you have? Just disconnect all but the one you wish to install Windows on.
