Recent reports indicate FPS problems persist in Mafia 3 following the latest patch.
Everyone is aware that Mafia 3 ran at a maximum of 30 frames per second before the 1.01 update. Even after installing it and enabling unlimited settings, I haven’t seen more than 30 fps, no matter how I adjust the options. I’m playing on a G1 Gaming 1060 with 6GB RAM. I was hoping for a bit better performance... Do you encounter this issue too? Have you found a solution, or are you just holding out for another patch from the developers?
Do you have an MSI afterburner or Precision X? Review your GPU utilization, and confirm Vsync is disabled.
Currently I see 44-80 frames per second with 1080p at the highest 1440p settings. Make sure VSYNC is disabled, as it could limit performance to around 30 fps.
