I'm trying to understand why your wife's PC becomes sluggish when under heavy use. It usually handles tasks smoothly most of the time, but it drops to just 1 FPS and then spikes back up. The issue seems to be related to performance rather than power or hardware updates. Even after installing the 6500XT, problems persist. We built the system a few months ago, but haven't used it much until now because of our busy schedules. The specs are: Ryzen 3200G, 16GB RAM, 6500XT motherboard, 1TB SSD.

It's a 2x8Gb Gskill package. I don't believe the 6500XT is the problem—actually, I've seen smoother performance in games like Minecraft, which is what we're aiming for. The constant spikes to 100% CPU usage are really bothersome.

The program causing the CPU spike isn't specified, and no game titles were mentioned. Could you provide more details?

Basic games such as Minecraft and Sims work well. She struggles to play them without stuttering.
