Recent installation issue causing system crashes
Find the link at the bottom. I faced issues while trying to run performance monitoring. The command executed as an admin, yet perfmon stayed stuck at data collection. It kept saying "Collecting data for 60 seconds..." and never finished, even after overnight attempts. I restarted several times but it didn’t complete. *Please remember that throughout all troubleshooting steps, Windows updates were applied until no more were available. New build finished, Windows 11 Pro. Experienced occasional blue screens during gaming or media playback. Each BSOD varied but pointed to two issues: one involving the built-in Ethernet (SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED in sys.ini) which I turned off and replaced with an Asus card, and another persistent problem linked to driver issues. After several attempts—clean installs, driver swaps, firmware checks—I still faced recurring crashes. I ran MemTest86 confirming RAM integrity, and the Samsung M.2 slot consistently failed tests. I tried moving drives to different slots, using alternate SSDs, and even removed the video card. Still, BSODs returned. I updated drivers via Windows Update and used third-party tools, but the core problems remained. My frustration grew with every failed attempt to get the system stable."
