I just finished setting up a fresh configuration for my recording studio a couple of weeks back, but occasionally the display goes dark—just for a brief moment, then returns. It happens a few times and sometimes stops completely, or it keeps cycling until I power off the machine. System details: CPU 9900X, RAM Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6400 (36 CL, 48 GB), 24x2 Mobo, Gigabyte X870, built with integrated graphics from the CPU—no need for a dedicated GPU for audio work. Operating system is Windows 11 Home, monitor is an MSI 1080p model I’ve used for a while. After the build, I updated the BIOS and all drivers, but now it’s still a bit unstable. I’m open to adding a small discrete GPU like a new Intel 580 if it fits my needs.
Yes. A brand new, authorized Windows 11 installation appears to occur under certain conditions. With more time, it seems to happen when the screen display is mostly black. For example, if a website's background turns black, this effect becomes more frequent. It’s not the same as Google Night Mode’s grey tone, but rather a solid black appearance.
