Hello, Your computer won’t start after shutdown. The motherboard shows a warning light in orange, but when you press the power button it turns on normally.

Replace the RAM and verify it fits properly. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, attempt to reinstall the CPU as well.

Msi z690-a features DDR5, two 16GB Corsair Vengeance 5600 MHz RAM modules, an i7-12700K processor, Deepcool GammaX AG400, EVGA 650BR PSU, ASUS Dual GTX 1070, re-seated RAM, CPU re-seated twice. I encountered issues accessing BIOS until I applied the NVIDIA firmware for 1.4 DisplayPort+UEFI. The problem continues. Any changes in BIOS cause a black screen and system hang; even Windows won’t boot normally. After restarting, I can access Windows again. Windows diagnostics show it’s entering selective mode instead of normal mode. RAM reports 32GB total with 31.8GB usable; I also disabled Quick Start in Windows 10.

It seems the PSU might not be supplying enough power at startup. This could be due to insufficient pins or a mismatch in connectors.
