Recent CPU problems Issues with the processor have arisen recently.
I purchased a Ryzen 7 3700x this Christmas to replace my Ryzen 5 1600x. I ensured my power supply provided ample output (operating at 650W with 80+ Gold certification). After installing the new CPU and connecting it, the CPU indicator on my MOBO activated. (The manual indicates this signals a malfunction.) All fans spun up and the lights came on, except for booting. My Gigabyte AB-350 Gaming 3 supports this model according to their site. I reinstalled the 1600x and it booted right away. Could there be any BIOS adjustments needed? What’s the likelihood I got a defective processor? Did I miss anything? Thanks ahead!
