Recent BIOS update caused AMD EXPO to stop functioning.
I’ll do a few game tests this weekend to double-check everything. So far it looks stable and everything is running smoothly. Thanks for the support—I’ve never tried anything before, so I can’t really say otherwise, though I really appreciate the advice. Hehe.
It's very simple to get started—just download and read the ReadMe.txt files, and you'll be fine. This works with both apps.
I recommend skipping beta BIOS updates. The latest stable is 1409, which I switched to from 1222 yesterday without issues (though I had to turn EXPO back on). For the heat concern in this version, it's because: "4. Add thermal monitoring features to safeguard CPU and motherboard. Also, manual Vcore controls were removed in older BIOS versions."
I resolved it using 1413, though it was disappointing not to use my full RAM capacity at its planned 6000MHz. I ran it at 1.25x speed for 5600MHz and tested over the weekend—performance stayed stable without any problems. Even with occasional heat spikes, temperatures dropped by up to 10-15°C, reaching a max of 76°C on the CPU package. In short, everything works fine now, and temperatures have slightly decreased after the BIOS update.
I've upgraded the BIOS to F6a but keep experiencing crashes after about three minutes of Windows. The system worked perfectly before the update, and I’d love to revert to the latest BIOS version from when I built the PC on April 25th—though it’s no longer listed on the motherboard site.
