I just upgraded to 300mb's work and it runs perfectly on my phone, getting the full 300+. On my PC, I only get 93-5mbs, but I’ve checked everything and tried all the fixes. My Ethernet port supports 1gb, so I’m not sure what’s going wrong. Any suggestions from someone with more experience?

You're experiencing a speed cap on your Ethernet connection. Let's check the hardware between you and your ISP line to see what might be restricting it.

Access the Control Panel, then Network and Internet → Network Connections. Right-click the adapter and select Status. It displays either 100Mbps or 1.0Gbps. Check for any signs of cable damage from your desktop to the router.

These notes suggest your router isn't permitting a GbE connection, even though your motherboard can handle it (see pic. 2). The initial screenshot should display this issue.

Let me check the details for you. What seems to be the issue or goal you're trying to achieve?

Do you understand the process of accessing your router's configuration? Since you're not using EE, your steps might vary from others. Today's services focus mainly on WiFi access, while wired connections are often less emphasized.

After 1000Mbps, the router is configured for Gigabit speeds, meaning 300Mbps should work, especially on a wired link. You may need to check for a newer chipset driver for your motherboard. Wireless connectivity presents its own separate challenges. EDIT: When was the last time you restarted your entire computer?
