I’m trying to bypass the usual challenges in this game. It’s true vault hunter mode isn’t much better than the original, and I’m struggling to finish. I’ve been losing non-stop to Tyreen for three days now. I don’t remember exactly how many deaths I’ve taken. Filling up my ammo is becoming a costly habit (at level 67). I’m not sure how many more attempts I can make before giving up. Yesterday I read some tips about defeating her, but I keep dying again. Although I’m getting closer, she keeps hitting me with just one or two hits. The weapons I’m using are around my current level and give the highest damage I’ve got, yet they don’t work. Maybe Jacob’s items would help. I’ve tried several loadouts, but most of them are too low in damage. Some blue items are actually better. I’m using a green item, and about half the gold I found were mods for other characters—most were just useless or just grenades. I’m almost ready to use cheat codes or god mode to finish this. Loot isn’t worth it anymore; it’s not enjoyable anymore. It’s been too long. The only option left is to quit, farm Etherium, and try to buy weapons one by one, hoping for a decent gun. If I manage to get a usable weapon, I’ll keep going, but right now I’d rather stop playing.
