A few days back I worried about the amount of memory my PC was using while idle, so I removed some unused programs. Among them were roughly ten Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables. I'm almost certain they came from torrented games. I always selected the option not to install them, though I think a few did it automatically. They ranged from 2008 to 2022, and a few even used x64 architecture instead of x86. This could be completely unrelated because it's amdnoisesupression.exe that’s missing files, but the first time it occurred was five minutes after I uninstalled them and restarted the system, so I thought it worth mentioning. I also performed a Windows update at the same time. The error messages I receive are four in number, in the order they appear. I found a Reddit thread about amdnoisesupression.exe that was about a year old and related to a driver update. This didn’t seem connected to a GPU driver update. I don’t mind having to do a clean install if needed, but I’d rather fix this issue myself if possible.

You might be missing some VC++ Runtime libraries. I usually download this package—it's quick and simple. https://www.techpowerup.com/download/vis...ll-in-one/ Use the batch file to install everything; a command prompt will appear, so don’t worry. Good luck!

I'm ready to give it a shot. Thought it would be straightforward, so I didn't want to waste time experimenting randomly.

Oh yeah. I got my first one the other day lol. I didn't really realize I could do that until it happened to me. At some point I'll try to go back and give mark them all. Thanks. I'll try to find it.

Before removing all the VC++ Runtime programs, my computer began restarting unexpectedly, likely only occurring for about two weeks. Once I cleared them, it stopped restarting and displayed an error message. It repeated within about half an hour after I fixed it—roughly 52 minutes. I’ve tried to recall any major changes I made at the time, but nothing stands out. I was close to finishing a long post here and lost it. It seems connected to the VC++ issue, since during those three to four days I received the error message without a random reboot. Any thoughts?

I'm about to launch Red Dead Redemption 2 and check for any crashes.
