So after the new win 10 update when I go to login there is no password box. Instead I have a sign in button. I click this button and it tells me I have to connect to the internet. It says cant connect and then i retry or cancel. I have no wifi connection buttons on my login screen. I am on a laptop, with no ethernet connection, and i also get my internet through a hotspot on my phone. I spoke with Microsoft support and they led me to power cycle my pc to get into the advanced troubleshooting screen. After them not being very helpful, i uninstalled the latest update and was able to log in to my desktop again. Now, the update went through again without me being able to stop it. Same problem, no password box just the sign in button asking me to connect to the internet. So i tried to uninstall the update again. This time it won't work. "We ran into a problem and wont be able to uninstall the latest feature update of Windows." So next i try startup repair. "Startup repair couldn't repair your pc." System restore. "No restore points have been created." Whoops. Change Uefi settings takes me to my bios which is thin. Again im on a laptop. A lenovo. I try to boot into safe mode from this screen and i cant get into safe mode. It has the exact same screen im stuck on. The only thing i can get into is the command prompt. I have tried using netsh wlan show profile, but wlansvc is not running. I dont have any more ideas. I need to either: 1. Uninstall the update from command prompt. I have seen a command for this but not sure what the version is to try this. Or 2. Enable connect to wifi button on the login screen from command prompt. I have seen solutions for this however all of them need to be done inside windows. My last solution would be to run the reset this PC option which would reinstall windows which i really, really dont want to have to resort to. Edit 1. Im running win version 10.0.19041.1 Edit 2. So im in cmd and using wmic qfe list command there are 2 updates. 1. Hotfixid KB5000983 installed by nt authority\system 5/5/2021 2. Hotfixid KB5001405 same as before Im trying to uninstall them by running wusa /uninstall /kb:HOTFIXID number however im getting the error wusa is not a recognized internal or external command, operable program, or batch file. Thanks

You can bypass the online account sign-in by locating the "skip" option.

You’re limited to just retry or cancel, so you press the button and wait a short time without anything appearing. A new sign-in option appears, but because you’ve only created one account, there’s no password to enter.
