Received BIOS update and encountered issues with Bricked Gigabyte MOBO.
Hey everyone, after two years of smooth operation, I decided to upgrade my BIOS on my Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570 motherboard. I moved from F32 to F38h right away. At first, the BIOS update worked—once I restarted, all fans kicked in and everything functioned normally. But then things went wrong; fans started up but didn’t produce any output or power to my USB devices. I tried using the Q-flash to check for issues, but it didn’t help either. I’ve tested every BIOS version from F32 through F38h via the Q-flash, except sometimes the fans won’t turn on at all (especially on F32 and F35). Anyone have any suggestions or solutions? Thanks in advance!
Setup:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5600X
- GPU: EVGA 2080ti Black Edition
- RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) @ 3600MHz DDR4
- Motherboard: MOBO
- Brand: Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570
Consider testing a clean CMOS first; if it doesn't help, you may need to purchase a new motherboard or look for a BIOS flashing tool and see if it functions.
