Hey there, friends. Back then my PC would shut down while playing intense games. I discovered the problem was with the audio driver for my Razer Krakens, so I cleared the driver, reset the system, and everything functioned fine with the new Hyperx Cloud Headset—at least for a couple of weeks.

Hardware: Ryzen 7 3700X, EVGA 240mm AIO MSI x570 MPG Gaming, plus MOBO 2x8GB. Skill Ripjaw 3600MHz (XMP enabled), MSI RTX 2060 Super, 500GB NVMe, 2TB Barracuda WD, Corsair CXM PSU, and Asus WiFi adapter. All drivers are current, the BIOS is up to date, and there are no pending Windows updates.

Recently, during a Modern Warfare session, my computer rebooted—this has been happening for about two weeks. CPU temps peaked at 79°C, GPU at 72°C. I’m not sure this is the main cause. Recently while streaming on Twitch and doing some home renovation, the whole system froze for ten minutes until I forced a reboot. This also happened before during an Overwatch match.

It seems this issue started after I swapped in a faulty Ryzen 5 3600X with the new Ryzen 7 3700X. The pins on the old CPU were bent. Could that have affected the MOBO?

Update the chipset driver first, then proceed with updating the BIOS.

I tend to overlook details while rushing through the content. Let's move forward. Consider removing LLC from auto mode and handling it manually. You might also disable CSTO to see if that resolves the issue. These adjustments can assist with VDROOP, which occasionally leads to a hang.

You can look for these items in online stores or local shops that sell them.

It depends on what you're aiming for. Trying one thing at a time can help you focus, while adjusting both together might save time. Consider your goals and see what works best for you.
