Morning everyone
I'm having trouble getting stuck at 48x after making changes in BIOS. After saving and exiting, the PC boots up, then shuts down and restarts repeatedly. I unplug it from the wall and remove the battery from the motherboard. Wait about three minutes, and the PC restarts, but the M.2 slot isn't working, which is where Windows should be. What's going on?
Additional details about the power supply and CPU cooler models would be useful.

Adding the make and model details for the power supply and CPU cooler would be useful. If I wasn't precise, I meant those too. We require all components.
Frequently, when I request details, they provide the CPU without mentioning the cooler, and power supplies often only state 80+ 500W.

what are your PC specifications? more details would help.
Asus z97 pro gamer mobo. H80ib2 cooler ddr3 16 6gb ram. Evga gtx1070 sc2. M.2 2 ssd. Win 7 pro x64.
I believe I fixed it. After resetting the bios, I had to enable the pch setting. It then recognized m.2. But I'm trying to overclock to 4.8 or 4.9, but it fails. The pc shuts down or shows a blue screen. On 4.7 i have 1.247v. I attempted a x48 ratio at 100 clock, but at 1.270v and shutdown. Then I increased to 1.300v and still shut down. What could I be missing?
