Reasonable rate for GSkill Memory
Reasonable rate for GSkill Memory
Memory Express offers a solid option, though DDR3 is outdated and rarely upgraded. At the same time, it remains available in sufficient quantities for older systems, making it a reasonable investment compared to similar RAM on the market.
Adjusting for your location, here are some options within budget: $25-30, $50-60, or $50. Keep it simple.
Looking to purchase additional memory that supports higher clock speeds beyond the current 1600mhz sticks.
Craigslist prices in my area seem too high. I usually find used DDR3 1600 chips for $40-45 CAD. I’ve been searching for DDR3 around $25-32 myself after my GSKills stopped working a few years ago. It might be wiser to save for a new system if you don’t think the current price is reasonable.
