Currently my Windows 10 is consuming half of my RAM (8GB total). After turning off the network adapter in Device Manager and restarting, it drops to around 17%. When I turn it back on, usage rises back to about 45% plus. I've installed the latest drivers but the issue persists. I also performed a clean installation of Windows 10 without success. Could anyone help explain the solution? Please let me know if you need more details. Thank you in advance.

Check Rammap to understand which processes consume extra memory. The Task manager provides limited visibility on RAM usage.

I followed your guidance, but it's hard to track the RAM usage anymore.

Probably the bigger pages are taking advantage of the extra memory, I don't know what's consuming it.

The issue isn't the paged pool. It seems related to my Ethernet adapter. When I disconnect the cable or turn it off, the RAM usage drops below 20%. Thanks for your help!
