I notice that multiple threads discuss the same subject, yet each visit yields slightly different results for anyone reading them. This inconsistency is likely due to the nuanced nature of the problem. I created this thread because these variations make it difficult to resolve consistently.

The issue appears to have emerged following a recent Windows update, which I had already removed in an attempt to fix it but without success. I've tried updating audio drivers and even completely removing/uninstalling them via the device manager. Until now, reinstalling drivers resolved the problem for me 100% of the time.

Regardless of my efforts, only HDMI audio outputs are visible on my two monitors. I typically use the front panel audio jack with headphones while working or watching videos. I've also tested the rear audio jack, but it doesn't improve the situation—I can only hear audio through my extended display, which is a small TV.

I didn’t want to burden the community with this issue, but after a week, I think I might need to reconsider and check if I missed something.

I attempted to restart services related to the newly reinstalled Realtek audio drivers after clearing all audio items in the device manager, desperately hoping it would help.

What is the make and model of your motherboard? What BIOS version is installed at this time? It's recommended to save important data before proceeding. Create a bootable USB using Windows Media Creation Tools, then reinstall your operating system in offline mode without internet access. Ensure all necessary drivers are installed by right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

I have just finalized everything I use in music production, image editing, video editing, and more. I’d really prefer to skip a full reset since it’s only been a few months since my fresh Windows install, and my computer is now running smoothly and quickly—except for this persistent audio problem.

I am back after 2 fresh reinstalls of windows, BIOS update among so many driver installs and still the problem persisted, it must be physically damaged so disabled audio and installed PCI sound card and it's a bandaid fix because this board is going into the ground before i am done with it.
