I received this HP 15 da0103ng laptop a year ago, and the Wi-Fi is really frustrating for me. The connection speed is just too slow. I’m using 225Mbit down and 20Mbit up, but my router is a faulty cable model 6490. Speeds are consistent on other devices in the network. On the device itself, the Wi-Fi is around 40Mbit down and 10Mbit up, yet my phone still gets full speed (note 8). I’ve tried adjusting settings on both the device and the router, but nothing changed. It seems like I can’t get the maximum speeds, especially with Realteck RTL8821CE. Is there something missing or is this Wi-Fi card not working properly? The router supports 5GHz 802.11ac 2x2, while the Wi-Fi only supports 5GHz 802.11ac 1x1, which seems to be the issue I found. (If I’m right about it)
