Realbench is displaying incorrect maximum CPU multiplier values.
Hi Guys,
Quick question - I'm using a ROG Maximus Hero X Wifi AC with an 8700k CPU and 32GB G Skill 3600 DDR4 (CL17). In the BIOS, I've set the max multiplier to 51. When I run PRIME95 (version 26.6), the CPU maxes out at 5.1ghz as shown by both HWmonitor and CPUZ. Recently, realbench (2.56) reported the max CPU multiplier as 49, and in CPUZ and HWmonitor it's 4.9GHz. What's happening? Thanks!
Hi Guys,
I have a quick question about my ROG Maximus Hero X Wifi AC setup. I'm using an 8700k CPU with 32GB G Skill 3600 DDR4 (CL17). In the BIOS I've set the maximum multiplier to 51. When I run PRIME95 (version 26.6), the CPU maxes out at 5.1GHz, as shown by both HWmonitor and CPUZ. However, realbench shows a max CPU multiplier of 49, and in CPUZ and HWmonitor it's 4.9GHz. Could you explain why this difference exists? Also, did you mention your temperatures in the threads?
